I was sick (see previous post-but not yet, read this first). So instead of the HoneyBee Wah posted, or the GP sprint ride, I slept. I spent most of the morning coughing and sleeping with the exception of working on Kathy’s new raised-bed vegetable garden.
It was back to sleep, and up for an exciting evening remembering my Fine Art roots.
I woke up enough to meet Rick and Christie at the Midway Contemporary Art Gallery for their annual fundraising gala.
Oooh boy… I forgot about the art world society. Snooty. Snooty. But you know.. Long live Art, and all that shit.

If you’ve worn or seen a GSCA tshirt a Crossniacs sweatshirt, a Twin 6 Poster or been to the Art Crank show, then you’ve seen Rick’s screen-printing work. He’s a good guy.

Sunday I woke up super early, thanks to this cold and to the kidsters who were both up at 6. But I rallied for the NVGP and took part in the Grand Ole Day’s parade on their behalf. I handed out granola bars. On the ride back to parade starting line, I observed B2B and Alex coming back from what looked like a hard & hot GSCA team ride. I just wanted to crawl back into bed. Which I did.

Mix with family time.
Stir.
Go back to work on Monday.
