Noted for all you art freaks

Stewart Luckman, also known as "Lucky Dog" is substitute teaching here at Friday Harbor High. He is married to the lovely Marilyn Luckman. He is an artist and his area of expertise is sculpting. His favorite foods are Ethiopian food and Thai food. His favorite colors are blue and emerald green. When Mr. Luckman was growing up, he had a good teacher who made him want to teach, and he loves to learn.

Stewart Luckman chillin' in the art room.

Before Stewart started teaching he went to law school. He also went to a football camp with the Minnesota Vikings. He played pro football with the Seattle Ramblers, now known as the Seahawks. If he could be anything at all it would be to live in the Renaissance period to be a sculptor.

If he could live any where in the world, it would be Italy, because of the beautiful landscapes and priceless sculptors. His favorite actor is Peter O’ Tool, who played in the movie Lawrence of Arabia. His favorite book is “The Idiot”, written by a Russian author named Dostoevsky. His hero is anyone who is a good sculptor. Stewart is a wonderful person, if you get a chance to see him, say hello.

That was a pretty good book report, Pete. The only thing you missed was his favorite animal and favorite music. You get a B.
