Iraq Question

Ok, so now W (for "worst") is planning for troops to come home. Ok. But heres something that bugs me, we keep hearing that "Iraq is slow meet key goals."

What the Fuck is that shit. Of course they're slow. But why are we blaming them? Didnt we storm in there and turn their world to shit? Wasn't it us that ripped apart their governement? I mean, it probably wasnt working that well anyways, and now we expect some sort of "progress". Progress doing what? Walking to work without a car bomb going off?

Arent we the ones who are slow in re-building that country?

Shouldn't America take the blame? I know I've got a mental list of those who were "all for the war" and "removing Sadam". Right or wrong-its blood on their hands in my head, not some fragile Iraqi government.

Smithers?

Without adequate security no significant and lasting progress can be made by the Iraqis or the US led coalition.

Remind me who is responsible for security in Iraq?

Add to that corruption and fundamental incompetence and it’s not a formula for success.

Just watch what happens to that place in May once the troop surge is over.

Better not vote for Hillary. Don't forget, she voted for this shit too. That goes for all the rest of the spineless Dems who didn't have the courage to stand up against it.

There are a handful of Dem who didnt. He may not win, but Denny Kucinich might have my vote.

And while he may have voted for the war, I dont recall-Obama is calling for the immediate end to the war...

the fact probably remains that we will have to be in Iraq for the years to come. Its a bummer, I believe...
