Real Life Blahs

Its 2:36. My Race is in an hour and a half or so. The rain has cleared away, or at least its staying dry, The temps are cool, and I'll be at home for the remainder of the afternoon. No Race for me.

I felt really good during yesterday's GP sprint ride. I was mentally prep'ed for the technical course.

But then real life stepped in:
We had a late-night party that went real late. We had guests that needed airport drop offs at 7 am. I had to go to work after that. I came home to a very tired hostest-with-the-mostest, needing a deserved break from the kids. And I'm plum-pooped. These are not excuses, these are real-life situations that are preventing me from racing today.

Kinda bummed, but what can you do?

This puts a seal on a pretty horrible (considering all the work) spring season. I dont really have any more races that I care about for sometime. So, I'll be taking a pause from to plan my fall campaign, which I'm hoping will be a lot better.

Dang dude. That kinda sucks with the work thing. On the bright side you have a social life which is a heck of lot more than I can say for myself at the current moment.
